Challenge us. DryStarPro rises to the occasion
again
and again.
A family of desiccant dehumidification products designed for the
water damage professional, temporary humidity control, research
laboratories, storage and small production areas. DryStarPro
products provide a flexible and economical solution for your unique
or emergency drying requirements.
Ice, rain, floods, storms and fire are all destructive, resulting
in water damage to thousands of homes, offices, stores, warehouses,
schools, and buildings. Restoration, rather than replacement, saves
owners not only time, but millions of dollars each year. SG America's
quick drying desiccant dehumidifiers remove more water from furnishings
and structures than do refrigerant-based dehumidifiers, while producing
lower dew point air for the prevention of mold and mildew growth.

DryStarPro
Desiccant Dehumidifiers
DryStarPro dehumidifiers are available in three configurations:
AquaSorb (A30), ConSorb (DC) and, RecuSorb (DR, R and RZ) and offer
the option of stainless steel construction for long life. All units
utilize the Seibu Giken Ultra rotor. The Ultra rotor is the industry
leading high performance desiccant-ceramic dehumidification rotor.
Reactivation heaters in the DR-010, 020, 030 and 031 are innovative
positive temperature coefficient (PTC) thermister heaters. These
PTC heaters are self-limiting in maximum temperature, preventing
dangerous overheating problems, allowing for maximum safety and
energy efficiency. The A30, DR-040 and DR-050 units include a ni-chrome
wire heater with overheat prevention safety thermostats.
DryStarPro AquaSorb dehumidifiers are uniquely designed
to perform as a desiccant dehumidifier while condensing moisture
to liquid to be drained away. Low dew points, lower than produced
by refrigeration type dehumidifiers, are easily achieved by the
AquaSorb's Ultra rotor. Use an AquaSorb dehumidifier when it is
not convenient to vent the humid reactivation air to the outdoors.
There are no refrigeration components, no Freon and no cold spots.
AquaSorb units are the ideal solution for confined or secure spaces.

DryStarPro ConSorb dehumidifiers utilize separate air streams
for process and reactivation. Reactivation air can be ducted from
and to a separate space or outdoors without disturbing the pressure
balance between rooms. Separate blowers move process and reactivation
air.

DryStarPro RecuSorb dehumidifiers include an internal heat
recovery feature which allows for enhanced performance with lower
energy consumption compared to ordinary desiccant dehumidifiers.
A single blower moves all the air: process, purge and reactivation.
